1. Start with the application
The right DC motor depends on what it drives. Let Wangpai know the load type, required torque, speed range and duty cycle — this is enough for a preliminary selection.
2. Key selection parameters
- Power (kW): continuous or peak, based on the load torque and speed.
- Voltage (V): Z4 uses 400/440 V; Z series spans 220–750 V; Z2 uses 110–270 V.
- Speed (r/min): base speed plus the field-weakening range you need.
- Protection (IP): IP21S / IP23 / IP44 / IP55 depending on the environment.
- Mounting & shaft: tell us the mounting arrangement (IM B3 / B5 / B35) and shaft size.
